 Hooray, Halloween is coming up and its time for you to
get your dog Halloween costumes ready.
Now, if you thought I was talking about you dressing up as a dog, you are in the wrong place. We
are talking here about the wonderful pastime of getting costumes for dogs and dressing your canine
friend up right for the party or trick or treat.
For dog lovers, Holloween night is a perfect time to show off that fabulous little canine
friend. Depending on your dog’s personality, just like with people, you need to be considering what
your dog is like before you consider shopping online for a dog costume or looking for a
Halloween discount coupon for a pet costume.
Maybe your dog is more the pirate type, a little swashbuckler complete with doggie eyepatch and
tiny sword. Or maybe you’ve got a pair of puppies you wan to take out on the town. What better idea
than to take them out as bride and groom (even if they are brother and sister), that’s what
Haloween is all about, pretending to be something you are not.
Little girl dogs might be interested in going out costumed as a cheerleader and if you’ve got a
tough guy dog personality, why not get him the latest jailbird costume to go out for an evening of
trick or treating.

True enough some partypoopers will say, why do you bother to go to the expense of getting a pet
costume? Well, then really, why bother with Halloween at all. Why go to the trouble of putting

websites for Halloween cake ideas. (I am being tongue in cheek here) -- Because the answer is that
Hallowen is just plain fun and if you want to have a good time dressing up your little dog and
going out to a party or costume parade, then you just go for it.
